BPD Officers Arrest Two Juvenile Suspects After Responding to Armed Robbery in Progress in Jamaica Plain — bpdnews.com

At about 6:32 PM on Friday March 27, 2020, officers assigned to District E-13 (Jamaica Plain) arrested two juvenile males after responding to a call for an armed robbery in progress in the area of 124 Minden Street in Jamaica Plain. On arrival, officers located the two adult male victims who stated that they had been approached by two teenage suspects who demanded their wallets. During the incident, one of the suspects indicated that he was armed with a firearm, though none was seen. When the two victims refused to comply, the two suspects fled the area. While the officers continued to interview the victims, they provided suspect descriptions to additional responding units who soon stopped two individuals matching the given descriptions in the area of 65 Walden Street. The two suspects, both 15-year-old males from Jamaica Plain, were placed in custody without incident after being positively identified. No firearm was recovered. The suspects will appear in Boston Juvenile Court on charges of Delinquent to Wit: Intent to Rob While Armed.
