The city of Montreal has lifted the boil water advisory issued for Lachine earlier this week.

The advisory was issued after a water main break at the borough’s water treatment plant, flooding 32nd Ave. as well as its access ramps to Highways 13 and 20.

In a statement, the city said water analyses conducted Wednesday showed the water is now safe to drink.
