Metropolis of Fishers to carry Vietnam Struggle Veterans Day ceremony – Native Information

FISHERS, Ind. (AP) — Fishers will rejoice Nationwide Vietnam Struggle Veterans Day with a free public ceremony.

The occasion begins at 11 a.m. Friday within the Fishers Metropolis Corridor auditorium.

Army veterans who served through the Vietnam Struggle interval and their households will probably be honored. A lapel pin presentation is a part of the ceremony.

Town says audio system will embody Fishers Mayor Scott Fadness and retired U.S. Navy Commander El Ahlwardt.

Fishers is a commemorative accomplice of the Vietnam Struggle Commemoration. This system started in 2012 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam Struggle, and to thank and honor Vietnam veterans.
