Death Investigation in the area of 6 Cameron Street in Dorchester: At about 11:56pm, on Wednesday, February 19, 2019, members of the Youth Violence Strike Force responded to a call for shots fired in the area of 6 Cameron Street in Dorchester. On arrival, officers located a black male in his late teens suffering from what appeared to be multiple gunshot wounds. The victim, suffering from life threatening injuries, was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.
While still on scene, officers arrested a 15-year-old male found to be in possession of a firearm. Additionally, a second firearm was also located and recovered at the scene.
