About 9.30pm on Monday the Division of Fireplace and Emergency Companies responded to stories of a construction fireplace at Karnet Jail Farm.
Preliminary stories mentioned a number of fireplace alarms alerted jail workers and prisoners of the blaze, which is known to be inside the ability.
No less than three fireplace crews together with one every from Mundijong and Serpentine are on scene and have assembled within the facility’s carpark the place a staging space is being arrange.
It’s understood fireys are liaising with jail safety officers.
A WA Police spokesman mentioned all prisoners had been safe and accounted for, and that police had been attending the incident.
