Infrastructure considerations over plan for 500 new homes in Tranent

PLANS for greater than 500 new properties in Tranent have been lodged with East Lothian Council.

The plans are for an space of land south of the city centre, between Windygoul Main Faculty and Fleets Industrial Property; the land is earmarked for residential use by East Lothian Council as a part of its Native Growth Plan.

An authentic proposal for the land was submitted to the council final October by Walker (Scotland) Ltd.
