One Marine useless, one other in custody after capturing in South Carolina barracks


AUSTIN, Texas – A capturing Friday within the barracks at Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort in South Carolina has left one Marine useless and one other in custody, in keeping with base officers.


Cpl. Tyler P. Wallingford, 21, was shot and killed, 2nd Lt. Kevin Buss, a base spokesman, stated in a press release. Cpl. Spencer T. Every day, 21, is in custody. Each males have been plane ordnance technicians with Marine Fighter Assault Coaching Squadron 501.

“Tyler was an ideal child with a really infectious smile,” Standish Fireplace-EMS Chief Rob Caron informed WMTW, an ABC affiliate in Maine.


Wallingford joined the fireplace division in 2013 and the navy in 2016, Caron stated. His father can be within the division, WMTW reported.
