Pressure mounts on British PM after aide is accused of flouting lockdown rules; four states report no new cases for more than a week

ICYMI (in case you missed it) the countdown is on! Yesterday, Premier Daniel Andrews announced Victorians will be allowed to have 20 people in their homes, have a meal at the pub, get a manicure, or pitch a tent at a campsite from June 1.

In a lifeline for the tourism industry overnight stays in hotels will be permitted, and cafes, restaurants and pubs can serve meals to up to 20 patrons.

The lucky number 20 will also mark the number of people allowed at weddings, while up to 50 people will be able to attend funerals.

Gyms may be allowed to reopen from June 22, the Premier says. And it looks like Victoria may have a ski season after all.
