A 14-year-old male was left with a fractured leg and soft-tissue injuries after his bicycle was in a collision with a motor vehicle in the city’s east end on Friday afternoon.

An Ottawa Paramedic Service spokesman said the teen was transported to a hospital trauma centre with non-life-threatening injuries after the collision near the intersection of Innes Road and Cléroux Crescent just before 4 p.m.

An online post by paramedics said the teen was wearing a helmet at the time of the collision.
